Meet the Band:

Mitch

Mitch sings lead and plays guitar, mandolin & blues harp.  He has sung lead in rock bands and was the front-man for a popular Beatles tribute show.  He often shows up with one of his rare classic instruments, which include a classic Fender Telecaster, a Gibson ES-335 , a rare Beatles-style Rickenbacker, and a great collection of classic amps, including two vintage Vox amps, a Marshall combo and a Fender Showman tube classic.  Mitch also plays keyboards, mandolin, acoustic guitar, and blows a terrific blues harp solo.
Mitch's voice covers a wide range, from soft ballads to AC/DC screamers, and he does a great John Lennon on a whole range of Beatles songs.
In his private life, Mitch is also an artist, works in film special effects, and presides over a 15-acre ranch/farm,  where he keeps goats, chickens, ducks, rescued dogs, horses (and miniture horses) and kids too.  He also goes to medieval battle as a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism.  (He's the only guy I know who has a full suit of armor, that he actually wears and uses for heroic quests!)

Doug

Doug is a well-known Northwest bass player, and has been playing in regional bands since the 1960’s.  He plays a vintage ‘63 Fender Precision Bass, and for "unplugged" performances, an Ovation acoustic bass guitar or his rare 60's Kay stand-up bass.  Also a classic instrument collector, he owns and plays a variety of other instruments, including guitars, mandolins and sitars.
Doug also loves to sing and grew up singing in concerts.  He has performed with rock bands, blues and country groups, and a popular oldies and do-wop band.  He has released  three self-produced CD albums  of his own music.
During the week Doug works at the reference and media desk at a library.  He likes to travel and is an avid Harley-Davidson motorcycle rider (see his Scotland ride here).  He also does much of the band's business and is the webmaster for the home page.

Bob

Bob is a well-known and experienced Northwest drummer and has been playing in local and regional dance bands since the 1960s.  Bob has toured with a number of big music acts, including the Beach Boys, and has played his share of big venues.
   Nothing gets past him -
he keeps track of everything that is going on.  He has a wide knowledge of percussion and decades' worth of music experience.  This is key to keeping the ensemble together and maintaining tight arrangements in the band's repertoire.
Bob comes from a show-business family and is a natural performer, with a quick wit and a droll sense of humor.  He also has a good singing voice which adds to the group’s vocal harmony mix.
Bob lives with his family on country property north of Mead.  In his daily job, Bob says he gets to "blow things up", and has the scars to prove it!   He is an outdoor kind of guy, and can be found sailing and water skiing in the summer at the family lake cabin, and snow skiing and playing ice hockey in the winter.
