□ Admission Requirements

Upon accepting a referral the client will need to complete admission requirements. No potential client will be refused due to race, religion, sexual orientation, color, national origin or disabilities. At this time we are a state-serving facility and are unable to provide private services.

□ Procedure

Once a referral packet is received, the Management Team will review the material within 24 hours to determine if we will be able to provide our services. If Helping Hands receives a referral packet on a Holiday or a Friday the decision will be made the following business day.

◊ Referrals must be made in writing with the following:

1.) Cover letter or referral from regional case manager

2.) Complete summaries of client’s treatment and placement history

   ◊ Reason for refusal:

1.) Agency cannot provide the proper services that the client may need

2.) Staffing ratios or current client population does not allow for a successful placement

3.) The lack of open beds available

Upon Admission the case worker must provide all required intake paperwork according to Helping Hands Admission Policy. For further questions please contact us for information.
